I’m proficient with the Unity engine, C# language and version control, all of which I use when developing games. My professional skills support the prototyping and artwork side of game dev, while pure force of will pushes projects over the finish line towards publishing. I’m a passionate gamer and passionate dev. I love all types of games across genres, big, small, AAA, indie and everything in-between. I endeavour to create games that have something new to offer and try to elevate the level of polish on every new project.

I’m always trying to learn, gain new knowledge and look for more efficient ways to work. A real world example would be implementing web design best practices at my current job, improving the design process with UX elements that are now used company wide.

I’ve lived in Asia for 13 years, 9 of which working, the rest studying. This has given me a unique outlook and has helped fuel my creativity. Coming through the Japanese school system and being exposed to Asian art history first hand has had a large impact on how I approach creative projects.

I value socialising, I like to get to know new people and find out what makes them unique. Being able to collaborate with like-minded team members is something I very much enjoy.

I have varied hobbies outside of gaming, including making and releasing music as part of a duo, weight training and reading. This all helps me keep a better work / life balance and provides inspiration from outside of the design industry.
